Case filed against 220 BNP-Jamaat men in Comilla

Comilla: A case was field against 220 leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami for vandalising vehicles on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in Alekharchar area in the district town on Tuesday.

Khorshed Alam, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Model Police Station, said sub-inspector Jahangir Alam filed the case against 220 people, including 20 identified and 200 unidentified BNP-Jamaat men, on Tuesday night on charges of vandalising vehicles on the highway during the countrywide blockade.

Some vehicles were vandalised on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in he district town on Tuesday during the 20-party alliance-enforced blockade on Tuesday.
