Chittagong: A motorcyclist was killed as a truck hit the motorcycle in front of Kalibari on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Mirsarai upazila here on Wednesday.

The victim was identified as Ismail Hossain Dulal, 42.

Shafiqul Islam, sub-inspector of Mirsarai thana, said a Dhaka bound truck collided with a motorcycle coming from opposite direction, leaving Dulal dead on the spot.

Police rushed in the spot and recovered the body.
