22 petrol bombs recovered in capital

Police recovered 22 petrol bombs from capital's Genderia area in an abandoned condition on Monday morning.

Genderia Thana duty officer Shafiqul Islam said, on information, a team of police rushed to the Munshir Tek area around 6:45am and recovered the bombs.

No one was arrested in this connection.

Police suspect that the petrol bombs might have been kept there to carry out subversive activities.
