Our Correspondent JESSORE, Dec 31: About 91.96 per cent students passed in Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations this year under Jessore Education Board (JEB). A total of 1, 73,599 passed out of 1, 88,784 students appeared under the board. At least 10, 685 students attain GPA-5. Examination Controller of JEB Prof Abu Daud announced the result on Tuesday noon and said that he was very much pleased with brilliant success of the students in JSC exams. Jhenidah Cadet College topped the list of the best schools in this year's JSC exams under the board. Meanwhile, result of Primary School Certificate (PSC) examinations was announced on the same day with 98.03 pass rate. A total of 46, 126 students came out successful out of 47,316 appeared at the PSC exams in the district. The number of GPA-5 recipients is 4,126. In the other hand, 93.20 per cent students passed in Ebtadayee Madrasah Examinations. A total of 5828 passed out of 5875 students appeared in the examination in the district with 152 GPA-5 holders.
