National Bank Limited (NBL) opened its 179th branch at Rajendrapur Bazar, South Keranigonj in Dhaka on Tuesday.
NBL Managing Director Shamsul Huda Khan formally inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.
In this connection, a discussion meeting was held at premises of the new branch with Keranigonj upazila Chairman Shahin Ahmed in the chair.
NBL Executive Vice-president Mohammad Salim and Senior Vice-president Md Jahangir Bin Hamid were present as special guest.
Mr Huda said in future National Bank will pay a remarkable contribution in the business development of Keranigonj area like its other branches
NBL Vice-president and Manager of Islampur Branch delivered his address of welcome, the bank's Head of Rajendrapur Bazar Branch Sheikh Mohammad Ashraf delivered vote of thanks on the occasion.  The elite, businessmen and local people of the area were also present in the inaugural ceremony.
