Staff Correspondent CHITTAGONG, Dec 27: Due to dense fog the regular flight operations of Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong was disrupted on Friday morning. Wing Commander Noor-e-Alam, Airport Manager of the airport told the Daily Observer two international flights from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah could not land at the airport in the morning due to the dense fog. The flights were scheduled to land in Chittagong this morning at around 9:30 am. Later, those landed at Shahjalal International airport in Dhaka, he added. He also said that, the domestic flights have been delayed for 15-20 minutes. But the situation became normal at about 11 am as the Sun peeped through the fogs.
