The government on Tuesday formed a 38-member committee, headed by Prof Golam Rahman of Mass Communication and Journalism Dept at Dhaka University, to formulate the draft National Broadcast Act.
The committee has been formed four months after formulation of the National Broadcast Policy-2014.
Names of other committee members could not be known immediately.
On August 4, the cabinet approved the broadcast policy that drew flake from different media and organisations.
