Students vow for drug-free Bogra

The participants in Social Action Project Sharing Programme and Active Citizens Youth Leadership Training declared themselves as the second generation freedom fighters and pledged to work for building a drug-free Bogra.
They made the declaration at the certificate giving ceremony of the training at Bogra on Saturday, said a press release.
A total of 41 students of Bogra Azizul Haque College participated in the training.
British Council and The Hunger Project-Bangladesh, Rajshahi jointly organised the programme. Britich Council Head of Society Syed Masud Hossain said as chief guest that there is no substitute for training to enhance professional skills.
Mentor of Active Citizen's Youth Leadership Programme and also the News Editor at Daily Korotoa Pradip Bhattachara Sangkar presided over the programme while Independent Television Bureau Chief Hasibur Rahman Bilu and Prothom Alo Staff Reporter Anwar Parvej were present as special guests.
The function was conducted by Subrata Kumar Paul, area co-ordinator of The Hunger Project.
