Punish Tarique, demand FFs

Freedom Fighters' Associations in collaboration with different pro-independence organisations on Monday staged demonstrations throughout the country strongly condemning Tarique Rahman's derogatory remarks against Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
JAMALPUR: Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Jamalpur District Unit formed a human chain, brought out a protest rally and submitted a memorandum to the deputy commissioner (DC) on Monday morning, demanding punishing Tarique Rahman after bringing him back from abroad for his derogatory comments on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
A number of freedom fighters (FFs) formed a human chain at Doyamoyee intersection in the town. Later, a protest procession was brought out from there to DC's office, parading the main streets of the town.
A memorandum was submitted to the DC in this regard.
RANGAMATI: The Rangamati district Muktijoddha Sangsad brought out a protest march and formed a human chain in front of the deputy commissioner's office on Monday demanding punishment of Tarique Rahman for his defamatory remarks against Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
FENI:  Feni chapter of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad formed a human chain in front of Shaheed Miner to condemn offensive remarks of Tarique Rahman while he was addressing a discussion in London on December 15, termed Bangabandhu as 'Razakar' and 'Pakbandhu'.
They demanded of the government to bring back home Tarique and arrest him immediately for his derogatory remarks against Bangabandhu.
MUNSHIGANJ: Munshiganj unit Muktijoddha Sangsad organised a public rally and staged demonstration in the upazila headquarters expressing resentment over Tarique's remarks against Bangabandhu.
The agitated demonstrators torched effigy of Tarique protesting against his indecent and distasteful remarks and they demanded of the authorities concerned to bring him back from abroad to put him on the dock.
