The US envoy said Bangladesh and the USA are enjoying excellent bilateral relations and trying to elevate the ties, President's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told UNB after the meeting.
He said that the USA has cooperation with Bangladesh in many sectors, including health, agriculture and maritime security.
Sharing the experience of his countrywide visit, Mozena said Bangladesh has many positive sides and is impressed by visiting Mujibnagar in Meherpur and Gopalganj's Tungipara, the birth place of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Mozena said he received full cooperation from the Prime Minister as well as her government in discharging the duties during his tenure in Bangladesh.
President Abdul Hamid hoped that the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the USA will reach a newer height in the years to come.
