Film actress Naznin Akter Happy, 19, filed a case against Bangladesh national cricket team pacer Rubel Hossain alleging that Rubel has jilted her. She filed the case with Mirpur Police Station under the Prevention of Women and Child Repression Act on Saturday evening.
The actress claimed that Rubel developed physical relationship with her on the assurance of marrying her.
"Rubel got involved with another girl while talks about our marriage were underway. He avoided me each time I tried to talk about it," she alleged.
Nizam Uddin Chowdhury CEO of Bangladesh Cricket Board said, "This is a matter for the Court to decide. We cannot say anything about it without knowing the facts."
Rubel's cell phone was found switch-off when our correspondent tried to reach him for comments.
