PM's Media Adviser tells
All SAARC states to get benefit of energy co-op deal

Kathmandu: Prime Minister's Media Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury has said that not only Bangladesh but all the SAARC member states will be benefitted from the energy cooperation deal.

"By this cooperation, a possibility of resolving power and energy crises in the SAARC countries unfolded," he said at a press briefing at the media center at Raddission Hotel in Kathmandu following conclusion of the SAARC Summit.   

Signing of the treaty is one of the major achievements of this year's summit, he said adding that the 18th Summit ended very successfully.

The PM's Adviser said that people of the South Asian region would be benefitted from the implementation of the 36-point Kathmandu Declaration.

The prime minister will leave Kathmandu for Dhaka at 10:30am Friday.
