Cox's Bazar : Bangladesh Navy seized a ship, carrying over 500 people, in the Bay on Monday afternoon on way to Malaysia illegally.
 
Navy personnel, led by commander nayek of Navy ship 'Durjoy', conducted a drive in the Bay near St Martin's island  in Teknaf in the morning and seized the ship.

Lt Mostafa Kamal, station commander of Navy at St Martin’s  island, said the detainees included some human traffickers.

The seized ship is being taken to Teknaf, he said.
