
During the hour-long meeting, they discussed different bilateral issues, said a ministry release.
The Foreign Secretary briefed the visiting US envoy on the political and economic stability of Bangladesh which ensured a steady growth and brought confidence in the business.
US Assistant Secretary Charles Rivkin praised Bangladesh for making substantial economic growth and said that the growth should attract the US investors for investing in the country, the release added.
Charles Rivkin arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday on a two-day visit.
