A Dhaka Court on Tuesday issued an arrest warrant against President of Krishak Shramik Janata League, Abdul Kader Siddiqui, BU, in a defamation case filed for calling former Home Minister Dr. Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir as "Razakar".Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Ali Masud Sheikh, issued the warrant against Siddiqui as he was absent in the court without any steps on Tuesday.
The court also issued a show-cause notice upon the complainant for not being present in the court in 14th times after filing the case. A freedom fighter, Ruhul Amin Majumder of Dhanmondi on February 9, last year filed a defamation case with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court against Abdul Kader Siddiqui.
