The plying of all kinds of long-distance and inter-district buses and trucks has been cut off in the division since 6am.

The Sylhet Zila Sarak Paribahan Malik-Sramik Oikya Parishad and Sarak Paribahan Malik-Sramik Sangram Committee jointly called the indefinite strike in four districts of Sylhet division to press home their seven-point demands.
