With the participation of eleven club football teams Bangladesh Premier Football League 2014-15 will take place on February next year while with participation of the same teams and a guest team, the Federation Cup 2014 will begin on December 19 this year. These decisions were taken in a meeting of Bangladesh Football Federation Professional Football League Committee headed by BFF senior vice-president Abdus Salam Murshedy at the Bangladesh Football Federation conference room on Saturday.
Foreign player registration time of the season was extended to January 30, 2015 while the local player will be able to register from November 12 to December 11, 2014. The committee also decided to hold the Independence Cup-2015 and Super Cup-2015 in 2014-15 seasons.
