A faction of Ganajagaran Mancha, a youth led platform, campaigning for trial of war criminals on Friday protested the remarks of Pakistan Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on the ongoing war crimes trials in Bangladesh.

They also urged the government to cancel all commercial and diplomatic relations with Pakistan.

The demand made at a protest rally against Pakistan interior minister remarks on war crimes trial at Shahbag in the city.

Addressing the rally, Imran H Sarker, spokesperson of Ganajagaran Mancha said that the people of Bangladesh should avoid using Pakistani products while the government must stop all sorts of business with Pakistan.

The interior minister in a statement on November 1 condemned the sentencing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami amir Motiur Rahman Nizami to death for committing crimes against humanity during the independence war in 1971.
