All rounder Shakib Al Hasan made the path of the Tigers’ win as he
entered the record book as the 3rd cricketer after Imran Khan (1983)
and Ian Botham (1980) to score a century and to claim 10 wickets in a
Test match.
Shakib hit 137 runs in the first innings and took 5 wickets for 80 runs against Zimbabwe in the first innings.
He also grabbed another five-for in the second innings conceding 44 runs to be adjudged man of the match.
Masakadza got a good stand going with Chakabva after early wickets but Jubair broke the stand and he also got rid of Ervine too.
Zimbabwe's openers Sikandar Raza (9) and Chari (4) were dismissed by Shakib and Taijul Islam.
Shakib Al Hasan became the third player in Test history to hit a century and claim 10 wickets in a match as Bangladesh rolled Zimbabwe over on the final day to take the series 2-0 in Khulna.
Earlier in the day, Bangladesh began batting with 201 runs on the scoreboard and 5 wickets in hand before declaring at 248/9 setting a target of 314 for the visiting side.
