The examinations of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) began on Friday across the country.

The JSC students sat for Bangla first paper examination on the first day around 9am while JDC students for Quaran Majid and Tajbeed.

The examinations were originally scheduled to begin on November 2. But, Jamaat-e-Islami's countrywide hartal forced the authorities to reschedule the exams.

As per the new schedule, the examination of November 3 will  now be held on November 14 while the examinations of November 5 and 6 on November 19 and 20 respectively.
