Comilla, Oct 31: Railways Minister Mujibul Hoque has finally tied the knot at the age of 67.
The marriage ceremony took place at bride Honufa Akter Rikta's village home in Comilla's Chandina on Friday afternoon.
Siddiqur Rahman conducted the wedding ceremony.
Hoque had described his wife as a "simple village girl from a good family, who is religious and always moves around in a Burkha."
The minister reached Comilla in the afternoon accompanied by nearly 700 people.
Several TV channels telecast the ceremony live.
