College student killed in city road crash

A college student was run over by a truck near Khilgaon Flyover in the capital on Wednesday morning.

The victim was identified as Mehedi Hasan Rony, 20, honours 2nd year student of Stamford University.

Witnesses said a truck ran over Rony at around 11:00pm in the area, leaving him dead on the spot.

Kamaluddin, sub-inspector of Sobujbagh thana confirmed the matter.
