In a bid to prevent realizing excessive charges from the students, the government has fixed the admission fees for the country’s private medical and dental colleges.

According to a notification issued by the Health Ministry on Sunday, a sum of Tk 13.90 lakh has been set for the private medical and dental colleges. Besides, the colleges would not have to realize over Tk 4.80 lakh as tuition fees for their five-year courses.

With the fixation of the admission fees by the government, now a student will have to pay Tk 19.90 lakh to complete medical education.
