SATKHIRA : Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a drive, arrested six people with two tiger hides from Itagachha in the district town on Thursday night.

During the drive, the elite force  also seized 10 bullets from their possessions.

The detainees are Gazi Selim,  Md Rabiul Islam,  Sheikh Bakhliar Uddin,  Md Mostafizur Rahman,  Md Faruk Sana and Md Amirul Islam.

RAB-8 Commanding Officer Major Adnan said the detainees collected the tiger skins from the poachers and had been smuggling those out of the country.

A case has been filed with Sadar police station in this connection.
