RAJSHAHI, Oct 16: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a youth with 869 pieces of Yaba in Barkatpur village under Charghat Upazila on Wednesday afternoon. The arrested person was Choitanna Kumar Mondal, 30, son of late Amulya Mondal. On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a sudden raid at the area at around 4:20pm and arrested him with the contraband item. The operation team also seized three mobile phone sets and cash Tk 7,024 from his possession. A case was filed with Charghat Police Station in this connection and the arrested person was handed over to the police.?BSS
