The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court on Monday extended the bail period to former state minister for housing and public works Abdul Mannan Khan till December 9 in a corruption case.
Dhaka Metropolitan magistrate Ataul Haque passed the order.
Mannan appeared before the court in the morning.
Earlier on August 24, CMM court granted ad interim bail to the minister till October 13.
The ACC sued Mannan for concealing wealth information on August 21.
The case statement said that he concealed information of his property worth Tk 4.59 lakh and he could not produce documents in favour of his income of Tk 75 lakh.
According to the income tax returns and other related documents of Mannan, he has movable properties worth Tk 96.89 lakh. But his wealth statement submitted to the ACC on March 9 stated that he owned movable properties worth Tk 92.30 lakh.
