Bangladesh offspinner Sohag Gazi has been suspended from bowling in international cricket, the BCB has said.

He was reported for a suspect action by ICC match officials in August, when on tour in West Indies. Later, he came back to the country instead of playing the Test series.

Sohag Gazi's bowling action was examined at Cardiff in Wales, UK on September 20 last.

"He has been suspended by the ICC," BCB cricket operations committee chairman Akram Khan said. "The CEO [Nizamuddin Ahmed] just told me that his action is over the 15-degree mark. The ICC hasn't yet told the BCB the next course of action."
