Rizvi issued the warning at a press conference held at the party's Nayapaltan central office in the capital on Tuesday, the second day of Eid-ul-Azha festival.
The BNP leader said their movement is going on. "We're on the streets and continue to do so in future."
He said, "We requested Awami League to sit for dialogues repeatedly after it came to power through a voterlsess election. Doesn't she understand Bangla or she doesn't want to understand it? The country will run at the wishes of people. So, the government must step down right now thinking about people."
Rizvi said any malicious plan of the government would not yield any result. The government doesn't follow any ethics. The government has not only lost its credibility locally, but also internationally.
The press conference was attended by BNP's educational affairs secretary Khairul Kabir Khokon, Mass and Educational Affairs Secretary Advocate Sanaullah Mia, Religious Affairs Secretary Masud Talukder and Economic Affairs Secretary Advocate Abdus Salam.
