Trader found dead in city

Police recovered the body of a trader from a beel at Basta Nayarchar in Dhamrai upazila, on the outskirts of the capital, on Saturday morning.

Deceased Abu Bakar, 42, was a lemon trader of the area. 

Locals said Abu Bakar went out of his house on Friday afternoon with some money and he went missing since then. Family members searched him for a long time but did not get any information about him.

Later, locals found the floating body of Bakar in a beel and informed the police.

OC Firoz Talukder of Dhamrai Police Station said, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical Hospital morgue.
