
The Jagannath University (JU) authorities held seven admission seekers for adopting unfair means with the help of mobile phones during admission tests of unit 'C' under the session of 2014-2015 today.
According to a release, the university authorities handed them over to police. The release said the students were held from different centres on charges of forgery.
The admission test was held at 22 centres from 3pm to 4.30pm, the release added.
During the test, vice chancellor of JU Professor Dr Mizanur Rahman visited the examination centres. Treasurer Professor M Selim Bhuiyan, deans, registrar, proctors and assistant proctors were present during the visit.
