Graft Case : Docs flee from the dock

Dr. Atiar Rahman and Dr. Mohammad Mashiur Rahman , two physicians of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), fled away from the dock of Dhaka Senior Special Judge Court on Wednesday deceiving the surveillance of Police while they heard that their bail prayers were rejected.
On Wednesday seven  people, including four doctors of DMCH, surrendered before the Dhaka Senior Special Judge Court in a corruption case relating to embezzlement of  taka 2.31 crore and made a plea  to grant them bail.
After hearing on their bail prayers Senior Special Judge Jahurul Haque turned down their bail petition and passed the order to send them to jail.
The two physicians among the accused has eloped managing the court police.  On November 16 in 2011, the Anti- corruption Commission (ACC) filed a case against them with the Shabagh police station of the misappropriation of money during the tenure of July 2009 to July 2010. After investigation the ACC submitted the charge sheet on May 15, 2014 against them.
