Popular band Parthibo is going to release its third album on the eve of its ten years celebration ceremony in March.
They still have not named their upcoming album. It will be a double disc album with total of 20 songs. Ten songs are rearranged from their old albums and another ten songs are new basic songs. All the songs are written, tuned by Rumon. Now the band members are busy with their recording and sometimes with their shows.
It has been a while since the band Parthibo released its second album Utshorgo Nijeke in 2011. The band maintained its presence in the band music scene with occasional releases in mixed albums such as Swapnochura, Radio Maina 2, Rocoholic and so on. Their first album Baundule was released from Arshee in 2005 and the second album from G-series in 2011
Parthibo's line-up includes Rumon on guitar and vocals, Roni on keyboards, Sutton on bass and Shubho on drums and percussions.
While talking with Shubho, he happily explained the album because the songs have more variation than their other works this term. 'Basically the songs are folk, soft rock and melody based and also will touch the audience', Shubho hopes.
Parthibo has a long struggling history of their journey. They won the Best Solo and Best Lyricist awards on Benson and Hedges Star Search Competition 2002 and Best Band at the Citycell-Channel i Music Awards 2005.
