Topper Jamal’s expected victory over Feni

Rashedul Islam Ratul : SK Jamal maintained their lead at the top with nine points in BPL securing a 4-2 win over Soccer Club, Feni, at Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday.
Jamal went ahead in 27th minute when Haitian forward Wedson’s corner from left side was coming in the box and midfielder Mobarak smashed a header into the far corner of the Soccer’s net.
Eight minutes later Jamal got a opportunity to double the lead but Soccer’s keeper Nehal brilliantly saved the booster of Darlington with his fist.
Jamal doubled the lead in the last moment of first half .Sohel Rana crossed from the left and Wedson was trying to take entry in the box with ball but Soccer’s defender Liton fouled him and Wedson scored from Penalty.
After the break Jamal looked more aggressive as a result they found their third goal in 62nd minute.  Okemmiri crossed from the midfield towards the box to Darlington and Soccer’s keeper Nehal coming to clear the ball but agile Darlington dodged him and pushed the ball into net.
In 70th minute Okemmiri made it 4-0 with his one bounced shot twenty yard far from the box. Nehal dived to his left to save but the ball hit the net touching his hand.
Feni repaid one goal in 42nd minute when Motiur’s back header from corner kick of Ala Uddin found the net of Jamal.
After that goal Soccer tried hard to come back in the match .Torza of Soccer’s was brought down by Kasto of Jamal as he chased a long ball into the box and Biddut tucked the penalty kick under Zia’s dive into the corner of the net in the last second of the match and reduced the margin 4-2.
“Jamal is a very difficult team for any other teams in the league. We have shortage of foreign players but I am proud of my local players” Said Soccer’s Coach Omar K Sisse.
“I am happy with my team. It is comfortable for us to win three matches in a row but we have to work hard to maintain it” said Jamal’s Coach Joseph Afusi.
“We conceded two goals because of lack of concentration in last few minutes .We have to be careful in future” he added.
