Student's body found floating in Narsingdi

Police recovered the floating body of student from a pond of Joynagar village under Palash upazila in Narsingdi on Friday.

The deceased, Habib Mia, 12, son of Awlad Mia, a resident of the same village, was a Class VI student of Danga High School.

Confirming the matter, Palash Police Station sub-inspector Rezaul Karim said that locals found the body of Awlad floating on the water of the pond and informed police.

Being informed, a team of police recovered the body and sent it to Narsingdi General Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police were looking into the matter, the OC added.
