Unidentified body recovered from Ctg pond

Police have recovered the body of an unidentified man, aged approximately between 45 and 50, from Damuya Pond in Pathantuli area of Chattogram city.

The body was recovered around 2:30 AM on Tuesday, after police were informed by locals who found the body floating in the pond.

According to Kazi Rafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Double Mooring Police Station, the man is suspected to have had physical disabilities. “We were informed when the body was seen floating in the pond. Our team rushed to the spot and recovered the body,” he said.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been determined, and further investigation is underway.
