Missing teen's body found in Savar

After four days of being missing, the mutilated floating body of a teenager was recovered from the Dhaleshwari River in Rajfulbaria area of Savar on Saturday afternoon.  

The deceased was identified as Rudra Islam, 17, son of Hossain from Khalisha Kundi village in Kushtia. He lived with his family in a rented house behind Panpara School in the area.  

According to the victim's relatives, Rudra had gone out with some local boys four days ago and had been missing since then. Despite extensive searches, they could not locate him. On Saturday afternoon, locals spotted a floating body in the Dhaleshwari River which was later identified as Rudra by his family.  

The body was recovered and sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.  

Savar Model Police Station officer-in-charge Juwel Mia confirmed the recovery of the body and stated that preparations are underway to file a case regarding the incident.
