Youth's slaughtered body recovered in Ukhiya camp


The law enforcers recovered the slaughtered of a youth from a Rohingya Camp at Ukhiya upazila in Cox's Bazar district on Sunday morning.

Locals alleged that a group of criminal slaughtered the youth in early hours of Sunday at block M 17 of camp No. 18 in the upazila.
The victim was identified as Nur Kalam, 29, son of Nur Salam, a resident of block D/14 in camp No. 19.

Confirming the matter, Md Shamim Hossain, officer-in-charge of Ukhiya Police Station, added that after being informed, they recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Md Amir Zafar, Additional Deputy Inspector General of APBN, said investigation is on in this regard to find out the actual reason behind killing and arrest the involved persons.
