Fire breaks out at Khulna jute mill, 11 units working
A fire broke out at a jute mill factory at Rupsha upazila in Khulna district on Wednesday afternoon.
The fire originated at Salam Jute Mill in Jabusa area of the upazila around 5.38pm on Wednesday.
Confirming the matter, Khulna Fire Service Control Room duty officer Md Abdul Qadir added that n information, eight firefighting units rushed there and trying to douse the blaze.
Later, three more units joined the operation as the fire spread out to the adjacent area soon, he said.
The details about the fire will be briefed later, added the fire official.
