Kamal-Rokeya team emerge champions in independence day kabaddi

Birshreshtha Sepoy Mostafa Kamal kabaddi team in mens section and Begum Rokeya kabaddi team in womens section emerged champions in the Independence Day Kabadddi competition held at national kabaddi stadium in the city on Monday.

In the mens final, Birshreshtha Sepoy Mostafa Kamal team beat Birshreshtha Sepoy Noor Mohammad kabaddi team by 40-33 points with two creditable lona while Begum Rokeya team defeated Shaheed Janoni Jahanara Imam kabaddi team by 36-32 points with one creditable lona in the womens final.

Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) president and Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun handed over the prizes after the days finals.    —BSS
