Lloyds Agency celebrates 90 years of Journey

CHATTOGRAM, March 10: Lloyds Agency, a subsidiary of JF Bangladesh Limited, celebrated its 90th anniversary.

Lloyds is involved in all major projects of the country including Padma Bridge, Bangabandhu Tunnel, Matarbari Deep Sea Port, Rampal Power Station, Dhaka Metrorail, Third Terminal, Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant.

Rahbar Alam Anwar, Chief Executive Officer of Lloyds Agency, gave this information in a press conference at S Rahman Hall of Chattogram Press Club recently.
Rahbar Alam Anwar said, We want to send a message in 90 years. Lloyds strives to brighten the countrys image. JF Bangladesh Limited has been doing business since 1896 for 128 years. Finlay Tea is our product. In 1688, Lloyds UK started its journey in London. Through 500 agencies and sub-agencies in 175 countries of the world involved in survey work with import, export, government, private institutions and privately owned businesses.

Senior General Manager AH Khan said: Lloyds Agency conducts survey work on behalf of the worlds 100 best insurance companies. Fire service and the ships sailors extinguish fire in the ships cargo and we assess the damage. Apart from Chattogram, Lloyds Agency has offices in Khulna, Dhaka and Benapole. We have to give a preliminary report within 24 hours, and a final report within 72 hours. Lloyds Agency conducts an average of 80-90 surveys per month in the country."
