Classes at primary schools from 9am-3pm in Ramadan
The government primary schools across the country will remain open for the first 10 days of the month of Ramadan. And, Primary and Mass Education Ministry has set new timing for the schools during the Ramadan.
Classes will start at 9:00am and continue till 3:00pm.
An office order, signed by Director General of Directorate of Primary Education Shah Rezwan Hayaat, confirmed the matter.
Teachers will get an interval of 30 minutes to offer prayers.
At the beginning of the year, the annual holiday list was published with 30 days of holidays for primary schools during the month of Ramadan. The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education decided to keep the schools open for the first 10 days of Ramadan by amending the list of holidays on February 9.
