After rain, cold may increase from night



The temperature slightly increased in different regions with Wednesday's light rain.

But after the rain, cold may increase from Thursday night,  Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in its latest bulletin this morning.

Mild cold wave was sweeping over two divisions and two districts on Wednesday. Today, the cold wave is sweeping over one district and a division.
But, the rain may occur in next week, the bulletin also forecast.

On Thursday morning, the lowest temperature 8.3 degrees Celsius recorded in Dinajpur district. All stations in Rangpur division recorded temperature below 10 degrees Celsius.

Dhaka recorded 14.2 degrees Celsius today, which was 12.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. Light rail occurred in the capital on Wednesday.
