DSE ends mixed, CSE slides on growing political anxiety

Indices on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended mixed and the indicators on the Chittagong Stock Exchange fell amid volatile trading despite growing political anxiety on Thursday.

At the end of the trading DSEX, the lead index of the DSE gained 2 points to 6,246 and the DSE-30 index consisting of 30 well-chosen companies also gained 6 points to 2,0 93. However, DSE Shariah fell by 1 point to 1,364.

On the DSE share prices of 93 increased, 72 decrease and 182 remains unchanged. The transactions also increased to Tk 660.61 crore from Tk 483 crore on Wednesday.

At the CSE, its overall value CASPI decreased by 3 points. Prices of the shares of 51 of the 203 firms that participated in the market rose. On the contrary, the price of 56 has decreased and the price of 96 has remained unchanged. Tk 14.23 crore and the transaction was Tk 12.74 crore on Wednesday.
