Drug dealer arrested with 97 bottles of Phensedyl in Nageshwari
Police arrested a drug dealer along with 97 bottles of Phensedyl in Kurigram's Nageshwari upazila on Thursday.
The arrested Abu Bakkar Siddique Ripon, 24, was a resident of Chakerkuti village under Newashi union of the upazila.
According to police, acting on a tip-off, they conducted a special anti-drug operation at Chakerkuti early in the morning. At that time, they arrested Abu Bakr Siddique Ripon from his house.
A total of 97 bottles of Phensedyl were seized at that time.
Later, a case was filed against him under the Narcotics Ac and he was sent to Kurigram Jail.
Nageshwari Police Station officer-in-charge Rup Kumar Sarkar confirmed it.
