Police recovered the body of a missing young man from a canal two days after he went missing in Jamalpur's Madarganj upazila on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was Abdul Karim, 32, son of late Nizam Uddin, a resident of Kaidola village under Shahbaz union of the upazila.
According to police, the young man left his home on Monday morning and was missing till then. Later, local people spotted his body in a canal in Gazaria area and informed police.
Being informed, police recovered the body around 11 am and sent it to Jamalpur morgue for autopsy.
Mdarganj Model Police Station sub-inspector Jinnat Ali Jinnah confirmed it.
