Youth found dead in Dhaka’s Sadarghat pond

The body of a young man was recovered from a pond in Dhaka’s Sadarghat area on Saturday afternoon.

The dead was Mainul Hasan Rifat, 25.

Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters warehouse inspector Anwarul Islam said Mainul went missing while swimming in the pond in Nawabbari Pukurpar at Sadarghat.

Latet, divers of the Sadarghat River Fire Station recovered the body and handed over to the police, the official added.
