Bus catches fire in Dhaka

Fire broke out in a passenger bus of Saint Martin Paribahan at the Banglamotor intersection in the capital on Monday night.

Being informed, two units of Fires Service went to the doused the fire at about 10.00pm.

Fire Service Duty Officer Ershad Hossain said they received the information about the fire at 9:28 pm.  He said, “The fire started in a bus of Saint Martin Paribahan at Banglamotor intersection. Being informed, two Fire Service units rushed to the spot.”

Initially, the fire service official could not tell the cause of the fire and whether there were any passengers in the bus or not.

However, no causalities were reported in the fire.
