Six held over DU entry test fraud

Six men were held on Friday for their alleged involvement in fraudulence during the admission test for the first year honors courses of Dhaka University for the session 2017-18 under Ka-unit.

The university authority caught them from different centres during the test.

The admission test begun at 10 am and ended at 11am. All the aspirants sat at 87 centers to take part in the exam.

DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman said the exam held in a peaceful and normal environment.  

A total of 89,506 candidates appeared at the admission test under 'Ka' unit (science faculty) of the university this year against 1,765 seats.
