Women police residential problems at upazila level to be resolved

Sangsad Bhaban : Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Wednesday said the government would take necessary steps for resolving the residence problem of the women police members working at the upazila level.

The home minister said this while responding to a query from treasury bench lawmaker Dr Mohammad Shamsul Haq Bhuiyan of Chandpur-4 at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here.

In addition to this, the minister said the construction of six-storied women 'Barrack Bhaban'at the 64 district police lines is under way for resolving the residence problem of the women police at the district level.

The residence problem of the women police members would be resolved if those barrack bhabans would be constructed, he added.
