Vandalism Minister's son held in Pabna

PABNA, May 19:-Pabna police in a combined drive arrested 11 persons including son of land minister on Thursday night on charge of vandalism.
Local people said there has been an enmity for a long time between land minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif and his son-in-law Abul Kalam Azad Mayor of Iswardi Pourashava over establishing supremacy in the area.
Following the same issue, on Thursday evening, a group of miscreants led by Jubo League leader Rajib swooped on different shops at a business center in the upazila and vandalized goods of the shops.
At the same time a group of miscreants attacked the house of Jubo League president Jubayer and vandalized the house. Jubayer's mother received injuries in the incident.
A case was lodged with Iswardi police station against the son of land minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif Dilu in connection with the incidents. Police arrested 11 persons along with the son of land minster in connection with the case.
Pabna police super Zehadul Kabir said the land minister's son was sent to jail.
